Mark Millington – Pianist & Accompanist

Mark is based in Lancashire and has been a professional musician since the age of 15. He is an Associate of the London College of Music and a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music.

Equally at home in both the classical and cabaret sides of the performing world he has worked extensively throughout the UK accompanying many performers in both fields. His classical engagements have taken him far and wide and include a recital before HRH the Duke of York. Cabaret work includes the highly successful jazz/blues duo “Ambience”, much in demand for functions and corporate events.

In 2005 and 2006 Mark was invited to be a guest artist for Swan Hellenic Cruises on the Minerva 2, performing in classical concert and recital in the Middle East, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. He also toured the U.K. with the tenor Richard Williams in the tribute to Mario Lanza show, “Singing to the Gods”. Mark was engaged by Hebridean International Cruises for their 2007/2008 season appearing on board the Hebridean Spirit in dual capacity as a pianist and singer. He has been invited to return for the 2009/2010 season.

With a knowledge of repertoire ranging from Bach to Lloyd Webber and equally at home as a soloist or accompanist, Mark can offer the complete musical package for any occasion.
